The second edition of the Golden Belgrade Indoor Meeting will take place on February 11, 2026, at the Athletics Hall in Banjica, once again positioning the Serbian capital at the very center of the global indoor athletics scene.
Belgrade is one of only eight cities in the world privileged to host a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold event — alongside Boston, New York, Karlsruhe, Liévin, Madrid, Toruń, and Ostrava. This recognition places the Serbian meeting among the most prestigious competitions on the international athletics calendar.
After a highly successful debut edition that attracted some of the world’s best athletes and thrilled fans with exceptional performances, the 2026 meeting promises an even higher level of competition and organization.
The Serbian Athletics Federation, as the event organizer, continues to build on Belgrade’s reputation as a proven host of major international athletics competitions — including the European Cross Country Championships 2013, the European Indoor Championships 2017, the World Indoor Championships 2022, and the World Cross Country Championships 2024. Over the past decade, the Belgrade Indoor Meeting has been organized for ten consecutive years, and in 2026, the 11th edition of the event will be held — now carrying the prestigious Golden status, second time.
The upcoming Golden Belgrade Indoor Meeting will once again bring together Olympic and world champions, offering audiences in Serbia the opportunity to witness world-class athletics and unforgettable moments in the heart of Belgrade.
