Belgrade, December 27, 2024 — One of the fastest sprinters of our time, American athlete Ronnie Baker, will compete at the prestigious Belgrade Indoor Meeting, scheduled for January 29, 2025, at the Athletics Hall in Banjica.
Ronnie Baker, born on October 15, 1993, in Louisville, Kentucky, has achieved remarkable results in athletics. His personal best of 6.40 seconds in the 60 meters makes him the third-fastest sprinter in history at this distance. Outdoors, Baker has clocked an incredible 9.83 seconds in the 100 meters, solidifying his status as a global sprinting star.
Throughout his career, Baker has won a bronze medal at the 2018 World Indoor Championships, claimed the U.S. national title in the 60 meters in 2017, and secured a gold medal as part of the U.S. team at the World Relays the same year.
The Belgrade Indoor Meeting, a part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour, once again brings together some of the world’s top athletes. The presence of a sprinting star like Ronnie Baker will undoubtedly enhance the quality and appeal of this competition.
